On March 15^th, 2018, the Sustainable Energy Unit’s Solar Energy expert Alex Al Samahiji delivered a seminar on Bahrain’s Net Metering Policy to the students of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, University of Bahrain. The Net Metering Policy is one of the three policy measures developed under the framework of the National Renewable Energy Action Plan to facilitate the use of renewable energy in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Net Metering Policy was approved by the Cabinet’s Resolution no. 2 in December 2017. The Sustainable Energy Unit provides support to the implementation of the Net Metering Resolution in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
